Rockin’on Japan’s website houses style that appears minimalistic
as it, has very a very limited colour pallet as its main colour scheme is black
and white, with a small amount of reddish pink to show what page we are. There
is a contact button at the top right of the page, there are no adds however in
the news section it shows what their latest news is relating the company, as
the host music festivals. There don’t appear to be any socials. The website
dose allows you to buy their latest issues of their monthly magazine and some
of their older ones as well, it also says what that issue will contain in the
description as well as other suppliers where you can buy it from. The target
audience appears to be people that like any sort of music (16–25-year-olds
possibly).

NME’s website house style appears minimalistic until you
click on some of these articles there a lot of adds that pop up, these adds
suggest a male audience as there are adverts for watches, bingo and rock bands
on there. The website has a black, red and white colour scheme that can further
support the fact that the target audience is male. We can see that this website
follows the codes and conventions of a magazine website having a masthead,
hyperlinks, articles, contact page, socials and (FACEBOOK 954 K followers,
Instagram 492k followers, twitter 884.7 k followers, YouTube 398k subscribers,
TikTok 146.4k followers and Band Lab 109k followers) where to buy their latest magazine.
You could argue that their secondary target audience was women as they have
articles on the Bridgerton and boy bands that girls love such as BTS which
could target a female audience.
